Hi tf.tv,

So I play on a 2011 imac with bootcamp (so basically i play on windows 7 through a mac) which has been working completely fine for the past 5 years or so. Today, however, when I got on to play some video games I noticed my Ethernet wasn't auto-connecting.

It's pretty strange though because when I click on it to try connect to wifi it just doesn't work lol. I tried opening device manager or even searching for network settings so I could mess with settings there, but the whole window is just white.

I googled the issue and it seems to be pretty common, but I can't find any solution that works for me. I can still go on the internet, hence how i'm writing this, but I can't connect to steam or any other games. Some forums just say I need a new network card or some shit but I wanted some opinions from here.

Thanks

tl;dr: is my computer fucked or nah?

it sounds like your network card, doesnt hurt to buy one and see if it fixes the problem, if it doesnt just return it , and then im not sure what it could be maybe run a diagnoses, see what isnt working. If that doesnt work id just bring it to the shop, maybe they can see whats wrong.
