"None" Crosshair Problem.

I have a problem with the crosshair "none", which usually puts on the default crosshair that you have when you get the game for the first time, it has multiple crosshairs, for heavy, medic, scout, sniper, etc. But, whenever I put on that crosshair, it just gives me a blank texture. It's odd, the melee crosshair works for Scout. I tried verifying the game cache, nothing worked. It looks like this. http://steamcommunity.com/id/supaswag/screenshot/260467680380630710

Anyone know how to fix this? lol

If you put cl_crosshair_file "" it should revert back to the original crosshair

If you put cl_crosshair_file "" it should revert back to the original crosshair

I've tried that. It reverted back to the unknown texture.

if you have any files in your scripts folder that have weapon names in it, delete all of them.

I do have files in scripts with weapon names, but for the reason of removing any explosions. Maybe they're outdated or something?

I know for sure that putting cl_crosshair_file default gets you the default scout crosshair (parentheses + dot in middle) but you'll have to scale it down a lot. It's only a workaround for now and I've had the same problem before. No idea why it happens though

delete all the tf_weapon files and see if that fixes it, if it does find some new tf_weapon files that replace explosions
