I'm trying to figure out how to stream TF2, but I'm getting a black screen with game capture. Window capture works perfectly fine, but it isn't optimal.

Game capture works with other games (i.e. league).

Has anyone had the same issue and know of a fix?

Things I've tried:
- 32bit vs 64bit versions of OBS
- adding OBS to NVIDIA whitelist

edit: fixed. I tried using OBS studio and it fixed the issue.

for anyone else with the same issue, running OBS as admin is another solution for some
