i had these and they were amazing until the cord broke because the adapter on the end weighs a ton and will actually literally bend the 3.5mm jack on the end

you can fix this by buying a 2.5mm -> 3.5mm adapter but i was just too lazy I guess

cloth earmuffs feel great and it's heavy but not too heavy and really solid

for $50 these are the greatest I bought them at $130 and they were worth it, open ear so if you listen to anything everyone around you hears it too

picked up a pair for myself and love them

the earmuffs are super comfy and the sound is surprisingly good

my one complaint is that the cord is super long but I imagine that you could replace it with a shorter (or coiled) one if it became an issue for you

as fade said, the included the 1/4" to 1/8" adapter is pretty trash but I just use my grado one

no, what i meant was replacing the entire 2.5 mm > 6.2 mm+ 3.5mm adapter into a 2.5 > 3.5mm cord

i've replaced it like 3 times and it got to the point where i just put it aside so i could use my earbuds

the included adapter is 1/8th to 1/4 (which is 3.5mm to 6.3 not 6.2 millimeters), no idea what you're talking about with the 2.5mm mini jack lol are you trying to plug it into your phone or something?

what are you talking about

ok maybe i said 6.2 instead of 6.3 my bad

did you not know there's a 2.5mm that goes into the actual headphone? I want to cut out the whole 1/8 inch adapter thing and just get an entirely new cord

EDIT: it doesn't work, the thing inside the headphone has like a nub so that only sennheiser cords can work with it and not regular cords wtf

yo these are 50 bucks i would buy them twice at this price tbh

also i was able to use another 3.5 ->2.5mm cord by shaving off the rubber on the end it's a bit sketchy but works fine

this is the one i used http://www.amazon.com/Steren-2-5mm-3-5mm-Cable-Stereo/dp/B00291N83O?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00

That's some ghetto shit mate. Can't you just remove the twist lock retainer like the HD 598?
