I sent them the memory dump files for PREC crashing, they are going to fix that as fast as possible.

They are also aware of killsounds being blocked by pure 2, and foundry has a bug with it related to games ending prematurely it seems.

I'd recommend updating your huds if/when you do get into the beta. An outdated hud will limit the 'wow' factor of the new additions they made.

I'd expect pass distribution to happen quickly, but also not until the bugs are gone.

Edit: PREC isn't fixable by them, Orange needs to update it.

There is also a hud insert to the main menu which is new.

It points toward them doing stress events for mm. I'd imagine that would mean playing without a pass during certain times, but don't quote me on that.

all the forward spawns on BLU side on foundry are gone, lol

looks like they copied the geometry from the mannpower foundry for the blu side... explains the random hole, too

you should make a thread that teaches people how / what to update since none of us are in the beta so we can't actually figure out what to edit + it saves a lot of time trying to find out what to change if we maintain our own huds.

Since I don't have a pass but want to make sure my HUD's up to date, is there anything that I'd need to do as a HUD dev to add in support for the new things outside of just simply copy/pasting the changed/new files into my HUD?

I know I can probably test most of the stuff in a local server via tf_competitive_mode 1, but stuff like the end/result panel doesn't require any additional editing, right?

mm i havent touched anything related to the endgame stuff and haven't figured out how to replicate the score screen locally.

tf_mm_servermode 3 is how you should test the new hudtournament and you can open the mm lobby.

The new end/result panel requires animations and an entry in hudlayout but you would have learned that from the git so yeah.

could be either on the way with the public closed beta update (where passes are distributed) or valve's logic is that everyone testing matchmaking right now is using some voip program and won't use in-game voice (so it's not a priority).

just some speculation. i hope they update it, can't be TOO difficult to use the csgo one.

I used to make update posts about this stuff on huds.tf, but I'm super busy so I haven't done it yet.

I did get some people to staff on huds.tf to do it for me but they haven't so I don't know why I bothered asking them. I'll get around to it in the week.
