hello i'm not sure how to configure the side buttons of my mouse (cougar 300M)
i've tried binding using mouse3, mouse 4, mouse5 etc. and it doesnt seem to work. when i go to the options menu and try to use the side buttons to edit a key, nothing registers
e.g. bind mouse4 "say halp"
bind mouse5 "say me"
is there a way to find out what the button's "tag" or whateveritscalled is

FireIf you give them special functions in the driver, that sometimes confuses the games. Make sure to have them bound to previous and next (or something similar) in your driver.

oh and it seems that if i assign the buttons to "mouse 1" and "mouse 2" in the 300M's software, it can be bound to do stuff (e.g. text, shoot etc.), but i would like it to be an "independent" key (as in now it does the same command as my left click as they are both bound to m1). i still can't seem to be able to have them independently bound as mouse 3 or mouse 4
