-sqdidn't Zowie recently rebrand itself from yellow and black to white and black?

yeah, that means the black and white ones will be rare, I have an ec2-a with the black and white, and a yellow fk2

How much of the stiffness of Zowie mouse buttons was due to the shell? Also, different switches have different "switch-depress-sticks"/"heights", is that the case in this change? If so, was the shell modified to account for this? Was the button travel before actuation affected?

Omrons are a positive change regardless, might buy a Zowie mouse to test those myself :)

Does anyone know when the new versions are out or where I can buy them? All of the online shopping websites still show the older mice versions in the thumbnails.

hookyHuh, the ZA11 is basically the exact same as the Deathadder. Might get one of those soon before my DA2013 gives out. It's already having the doubleclick issue.

It's actually extremely different, did you mean the EC1?

The shell played a big part in the stiffness of the clicks on zowie mice, according to the people who soldered omrons on them. So I don't expect such a huge difference.

the shell is why the fk has a higher click latency than the other zowie mice even though they all use the same huano switches

I noticed that it depends on where you look. The EC1 is much more similar to the DA, but the sides of the ZA series are more similar to the DA.
