So, my game sometimes randomly freezes for 2-5 seconds then players become invisible. I have to record a demo then stop to see players again, but I'd really like to prevent the freezes from the start. This only happens in TF2, none of my other games freeze so I think it just be a TF2 issue.
I am not on wifi.
I've tried defragging, reinstalling TF2, reinstalling steam.
I don't know if you use Comanglia's configs or not, but I had a similar issue when I used to use his "Max FPS for High Quality PCs" config, I had the specifications to use it, but these stutters happened far too often.
As soon as I switched to his "Max FPS for Mid Quality PCs" (or stability) config the stutters went away.
Not much to go on, but it's what resolved a similar issue for me.
