More information/Clarification:
Once I speak with the Custard Council we can figure out a nice looking Venue; I have a few in mind that I've been to before that I think would be perfect for us.
Later in July or August I will provide some more information if not start the Fundraising Campaign. The Campaign will be to raise the much needed money for the following items:
-Convention Center Fee's
-Medal(s)
-Extra Prizes
-More entertainment (reddit ballpit anyone?)
-Special Guest Appearance (I'm hoping to fly someone out here who's notable in the TF2 Community)

If you're even contemplating South-south Florida, you need to have it in Fort Lauderdale. Much less traffic than Miami, easier to get to for people traveling farther distance, and likely less costly in terms of venue. Plus it's not like were going to South Beach or something. Keep up the good work Miggy :)

this is actually very true
Yeah Miami is a hassle and there's a good chance the venue you set could be torn down and rebuilt at least twice before the date even comes close. Broward Area would be better, even if a lot of people voted Miami could we at least reconsider it with discussion? Brad makes the best points
