Mumble Cutting Out

My mumble is cutting out randomly. It takes anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes for it to start happening. I think it may be because UDP ports are blocked on my network for some reason, but I tried everything to unblock it and it still happens. It's affecting scrims because I have no indication that mumble isn't working. I'm still connected, and the overlay stil appears. But if I say anything, no one hears me. And I can't hear anyone.

I did force TDP mode already.

Sorry if this isn't the right forum.

A bump, because it's severely interfering with scrims and most likely the match tonight. It only happens on a few mumble servers, including our team server. Other ones, like many pug channels, are completely fine for some reason.

MankutNo one else on my team has this issue, so I think it may be something on my end

might be the server location

The server is in chicago, so nowhere too obscure. I think I've connected to other chicago servers and was fine too.

Is there a way to fix this relatively quickly? Or do I have to contact my ISP and wait a bit

Have you checked for packet loss while you're playing? I'd recommend using pstools (the ping utility is great) to check and have it running constantly while you're playing/in mumble, so if mumble cuts out and your ping test shows large spikes/packet loss (to a different server, like google for instance), then you know it's your internet connection. If you're on wireless, you can have another test pinging your wireless router to see if this is the case.

We've experienced the same issue with our Mumble - it affects one random person in the Mumble, gets fixed after a reconnect, doesn't appear to target anyone specific, and almost always gets fixed when using another Mumble.

Based on that I'd say it's probably an issue with the server.
