I need help with some problems in regression analysis (linear)

If anyone could help me out that'd be great, I'm pretty desperate

I'd say you can have whatever you want from my inventory (or all of it, and you can) but there's nothing valuable in there so...

Mostly to do with sum of squares properties and design matrices

Sometimes Khan Academy has useful math stuff, I'm not sure if it'll have what you're looking for though.

Well if you really want specifics,

I have two design matrixes Xa and Xb, which are

1 1 0
1 1 0
1 -1 2
1 -1 2

and

1 -1 1
1 -1 -1
1 1 1
1 1 -1

respectively. I need to find the linear models and OLS formulas for each, as well as the normal equations and hat matrix, leverage, and SSresidual.

There's other questions too, but if I get over this first hurdle I figure I can work through the rest.

Google has not remotely helped me, and 2c I know it's a long shot. Figured I wouldn't lose anything by trying.

In fact that's all the information given in the problem, but there are subproblems that give additional information like

"Let the dependent vector be Y' = (2, 1, 5, 3). Show calculations for the coefficient estimates."

and

"Suppose each value of Y is the average of 5 values with standard deviations of (2, 1, 1, 2) respectively. What are the OLS coefficient estimates, "pure error" SS and residual SS for Xb?"

No
