Hey i just got a new pc with windows 8.1 pro on it and games keep freezing after like 10 mins and i can't close them. I always have to restart my PC. Does this happen to anyone else? Does someone know any solution?

Update all you drivers, and make sure to keep refreshing the windows updates because there's new ones out every day.

All drivers are updated and i am trying to make ever windows update but it's not only for tf2 also for csgo. I dunno if it's only a source game problem of not.

It's a problem I've seen on the csgo subreddit too. Currently no-one has found a way to fix it and you are just going to have to wait in valve to release an update. I have the same problem also running 8.1 so it's something to do with that.

so i can be happy it's not my hardware but i am going to crash during officials with full uber . I dunno how to feel about that ima contact steam support and ask them if it's a problem on their end

It's caused by the latest Source Engine update (I'm on W8.1 too).
