What a let down. Was ready to quit all forms of education, job etc so i can make money from shooting pixels and all i got was someone gambling

making money and getting lucky are different.
Money made is how much you effort you put in not how many keys you buy.

Here is how I would make money playing Team Fortress 2.

A: Tell the Mayor 'I will play Team Fortress 2 if you pay me 100,000 dollars'.
B: Get paid 100,000 dollars by the Mayor.
C: Play Team Fortress 2.

I was into the unusual game a long time ago. I sold them all to fog for a few thousand at a cheap price so he could profit from it. It can be profitable but it's easier to just work a real job. He won't get 10k for that hat. I think I read he sold it for like 250 + other hats. You never want to sell out completely if you plan on recycling hats over and over again to continue profiting from them.

I sold mine because I didn't care about it anymore and figured I might as well sell them while they're still worth something before the game starts to hit a decline and there's no longer demand.

Yeah I am same as Blink but on a smaller scale. Spent a lot of time trading up/finding small children to profit off and eventually cashed out for 500 bucks (so of course I impressed all my friends saying I made 500 bucks off a video game) but I had definitely put over 500 hours into scanning websites, trading with people and that sort of thing so it was nowhere near worth it in terms of monetary payoff. Lots of fun though so I dont consider it wasted time but it wears off.

Better off playing 500 hours of !add 5 and becoming an esports superstar

It's not guaranteed, but results are much more likely in Toronto.
