My FK just arrived today and here are my thoughts after playing around with it for a few hours:

The new coating is very good and much better than the EC1, if you have sweaty hands it will almost feel like it's stuck to them. This mouse is a great deal smaller/lighter than the EC1 which means it's more sensitive to small movement and good if you use a mid/high sensitivity. You can fingertip this mouse without a whole lot of trouble but it is definitely suited towards claw users. The mouse switches are a tad bit stiffer in the back where you're likely to be holding it if you using a fingertip grip. Clawing felt very comfortable but it's not my style. I really like the shape, it makes picking up and maneuvering the mouse very easy.

Scroll wheel is okay, feel's a little bit tiny to me but I'm used to the massive and heavy EC1 wheel. This mouse is a little bit on the small/thin end and I would prefer it if it was a little bit bigger but not a huge deal breaker.

Overall I find that it suits my needs much better than the EC1 did so I'm going to be using the FK from now on.

Also it should be noted that this mouse has 4 side mouse buttons, 2 on each side. They feel a little heavy and it's hard to click the ones on the opposite side of your dominant hand. This is good if you need to bind things that aren't as important to your opposite side.

I am currently using the Zowie FK. I was looking a while for a replacement for my wmo, which finally broke after 4 years. Unfortunately, they don't make the wmo anymore, so I ordered one from China which broke within 2 days. I had to force myself to leave the wmo because of this. After doing lots of research and reading lots of reviews as to which one comes closer to the wmo, it was between the Zowie AM and FK. I chose the FK because, while it's width is shorter than the wmo, it is a lighter and faster mouse.

The FK has the same sensor as the AM. The scroll wheel is solid and the material of the mouse is good, but not good if you get sweaty hands. By far, this mouse has the lowest lift off distance I've ever tried. It's something crazy too as it says on the website. It has the same material mouse feet as Hyperglides (which is very good). The only difference is the color. The size of the mouse will take some getting used to. This is NOT for a palm grip. It is made for either claw or a palm/claw hybrid. The mouse is relatively flat so there's no room to put your palm unless you have girl hands.

Overall, I think it's a good mouse. Second best one I've ever had. Of course, my first choice would always be the WMO... rip.

The idea is that it's ambidextrous, and afaik you can only use the m4/m5 buttons on one side at a time.
