crit_hit.wav is the sound that crits makes.
you would go about changing it the way you change normal hitsounds
it doesn't work in sv_pure 2 so have fun with that.

				1. Go to tf2dingalings.com
2. Download a hitsound
3. Put the file (named hitsound.wav) in your common/team fortress 2/tf/custom/ANYNAME/sound/ui folder
4. DONE
I don't know how to/if you can change crit hitsounds.

				RayFriedhThanks, mate!
sv_pure? wazzat?
sv_pure is console command
sv_pure 0 - allows all custom content (skins, custom hitsounds, etc.)
sv_pure 1 - allows some custom content, based on a server whitelist.
sv_pure 2 - allows no custom content (skins, custom hitsounds, etc.) most, if not all leagues have sv_pure 2

Notably, sv_pure 2 still allows custom HUDs, custom regular hitsounds, and custom configs and autoexecs and such.
