Yeah apparently it just took awhile to kick in.

ANYWAY FUCKIN COSMOS IS COMING BACK

If you never watched the original series you're doing yourself a great disservice.

This is like a follow up to the original series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, written by Carl Sagan. That series was about understanding our place in the universe and the human experience and such. It is an enlightening tale.
The new series is apparently about the future for us and the universe, though I'd expect a lot of homage to Carl's series.

Because you've been robbed of good taste. Go watch some of the original Cosmos, its a bit dated, but still excellent.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me you l-

No, my taste is fine but I never heard anything of cosmos. And I know pretty much all older and newer scifi series. But Babylon5 was the only one I really liked so that would be cool if there was another one really worth watching.

I'm not saying you LACK good taste, I'm saying it was robbed from you as you were never able to check this out.

Cosmos isn't like Babylon5 or Star Trek or anything like that. Its completely nonfiction shown in a fantastic light. It talks about the beginning of the universe, the expansion of the human race into the stars, the idea of alien life, exploring other planets, and much more.

I absolutely adore Carl Sagan.
He's pretty much my idol.
I'm happy so many people are interested Cosmos' reincarnation.

That reminds me of a German show called Alpha Centauri but with nifty grafix.
Sounds cool will check it out.
