Why does twitch delete my videos?

I don't stream often, and i use twitch more as a purpose of recording some things in 60fps and publishing it.
However, many of my videos keep getting deleted, why?

MGE Cup finals broadcast got deleted, playoffs got deleted, and some more stuff..
I don't know why twitch keeps doing this, but is there any way i can stop this?

Try highlighting your videos?

I think twitch deletes vods 30 days after they were recorded if you don't save them, citation needed though

Due to storage limitations, recorded videos (i.e., "Past Broadcasts") are removed after several days. Once removed, they cannot be recovered.

You can save a video by clicking the gear icon below the video player and selecting Save forever. Similarly, if you wish to delete a video, select Delete from this menu.

We recently created a notification system to notify you that your broadcast has been recorded and that you should make a highlight ASAP.

I had that, there is streams of my old team scrimming and I'd love to watch them again since most of them quit tf2 :(
