Hello everyone. Its tool here. So I am ready to begin the journey of attempting semi-daily TF2 content. So far I am just calling this the Daily Dispenser, but expect more a weekly format for the first few weeks. The first episode will be this Thursday, June 13 at 6:00 PM EST. The goal is to provide some strategy discussion that can be helpful to all skills of player.

This Thursday, I'll be discussing how TF2 relates to other similar games and specifically talk about scoring and push dynamics in tf2 as it relates to 6v6 or 9v9. We will also watch a high level granary demo to display some of these rules.

Come check it out yo.

I have been doing some private test casts so it is currently locked right now. The lock will be lifted before the show tomorrow don't worry!

bad timing :0 with fullycharged at the same time

btw, there's no need, not even enough content to create a daily "podcast" for tf2 (hell not even for lol or dota)... Just stick to weekly content, it's good enough, plenty of stuff to discuss and everyone will still love you!

I like the idea, but tbh the way you presented the show was rather dull. Your audio levels were terrible, and you didn't seem excited about what you were talking about at all. Look at any popular esports commentator and you'll notice they all give off an energy that draws in the viewer, and makes them care about what they have to say. Sadly that was missing from your presentation. The powerpoint idea is different, but personally it made me feel like I was in a lecture at uni instead of watching a gaming vodcast. I feel like you'd be better off ditching the .ppt, and instead use a pre-recorded section of a demo to illustrate what you're talking about. I feel like trying to speed up the pace of the show would be more interesting as well, the rather long chess piece value analogy didn't really feel necessary, you could have condensed it down a lot and cut to a clip of class advantages playing out in an somewhat unusual way (say 3v3 sol+scout+scout beating med+demo+sol).

tldr
- fix mic settings, boost your volume and get rid of as much background noise as possible
- try and sound like you're excited about what you have to say, you have no real presence or on-mic energy and that really affects the entertainment value
- try and cut out as much long-winded explanation as possible, makes it feel more like a lecture. Instead make your point as concisely as possible, and use a pre-rendered clip to illustrate
- powerpoint may or may not work out, as i said it feels more like a lecture. If you can, try and get your hands on 3 lights, and set them up in your room like so: http://timebased-w07.wikispaces.com/file/view/3point.gif/30426518/3point.gif, and use your onscreen presence combined with a less-dull picture to say what you want to say

Otherwise I like the idea, but theres some work to do if you want to really draw in viewers and make the show entertaining to watch.

Pretty interesting. The only problem for now would be the static in the audio and tf2 audio out powering your microphone.

yes thanks all for the feedback. my idea is to have some content that you can listen to while gaming (like a podcast) and at the same time still be educational and include demo pov content. the audio was a problem yea and ill fix that. all the criticism ill be sure to take into account for the next one ty ppl.
