only reason i'd use a laser mouse is for hardpads or a table or something. what's the point of them again?

there is literally no upside to using a laser sensor instead of an optical sensor, and there is the possibility of a downside depending on the mousepad. it's your money though, so i'd recommend g500 / SS xai as the least bad laser mice.

The only reason why you would want a laser mouse is if you want DPI's as big as 6400+(Some are even like 8600) That just just a massive overkill. It's pointless let's say you use like a mouse Razer deathadder(using 2000dpi) vs. a SS Ikari laser(using 2000dpi), You wouldn't see the difference in it.
