Voice Activation only because I have a studio mic with a -10db mode that only picks up fairly loud noises (and very clearly).
I used to use mouse4, then I switched to using a script that remapped my Windows key to mouse4 when I had an Abyssus.

I'm an idiot and I've had it bound to F for the past two years. I really want to unlearn it and try a less stupid key (one that doesn't mitigate my movement while I talk, like MOUSE4 or MOUSE5) but I can't get used to anything else.

Mouse4 so I can talk and shoot but I'm horrible at shooting so I'm not sure why I care so much.

It will probably take you a couple of weeks to really adjust. House of pain style is the only way you're going to relearn muscle memory.

shift, but I should move it...hard to crouch with ctrl.

I bought a cheap usb foot pedal on amazon and linked it to scroll lock. But now I use voice activation so it just toggles mute now.

because I don't use the generic bad W A S D setup, it doesn't hinder my ability to do anything except press crouch, but I can't think of a time where I couldn't talk because I ran out of finger space or whatever. if I do need to crouch + talk at the same time, my ring finger moves to caps lock, middle to W, and pointer to both left/right (E and R). seeing as how there isn't a single moment where you need to be holding both strafe keys, this is no different than having one finger on both strafe keys.

Mouse4 now, I used Setpoint to bind it to Ctrl+F12. Had to run as admin and disable UAC (so it doesn't bother me all the time) for it to work.
