I think the Aussies will represent themselves well, maybe they won't make it to the Finals but a top 6 run isn't out of the question.

I for one, can't wait to see how much work Yuki will do at i49. I really want to see an American vs. Australian final.

Are there any Videos/VoDs where I can see sheep snipe? I haven't heard a lot about the australian scene but his name seems to pop up EVERYWHERE.

Would be greatly appreciated! :)

like seriously get mad all you want but you guys have a small fraction of the playerbase compared to NA or EU and while there might be a few standout players, ie powah from the south american scene the best teams just aren't going to be as good

but hey all the more reason for you guys to prove me wrong right HEHE

the results dont matter as much as how cool it is for the best teams from around the world to be competing

jus givin my preds

because your scene is much smaller and its pretty much proven that the best teams from the smaller scenes (asiafortress, south africa, south america) aren't as good as the best teams in the larger leagues/scenes

If I'm being honest I'd predict you guys to top 10

sry if im breaking ur heart here :O(

the hilarious thing about your argument is that you don't even take into account the fact that europe has more than 3x the amount of teams than ESEA -

etf2l season 14 - 328 teams (http://etf2l.org/etf2l/archives/170/1/)
esea season 13 - 89 teams (http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=league&d=standings&division_id=2023, cbf pasting all links, see other divisions)

using your reasoning, there's no way that such a smaller scene (US) could compete with european teams. The teams just aren't as good

thats what happened at i46 right

you're forgetting ugc

regardless I think the amount of teams competing at an IM+ or Div2+ level is about the same in both NA and EU and that figure is definitely higher than AU

nigga why bother arguing surely you're confident enough to just go and win it and blow off my opinions

wafflebyou're forgetting ugc

from what I understand UGC 6's is just pubbers so i'm not sure why that would factor into the equation at all

wafflebregardless I think the amount of teams competing at an IM+ or Div2+ level is about the same in both NA and EU and that figure is definitely higher than AU

what exactly are you basing this on? regardless, average skill level is not an indication of top teams - they're the best for a reason

wafflebnigga why bother arguing surely you're confident enough to just go and win it and blow off my opinions

i'm confident that whatever team goes over will do well.

snowblindthe hilarious thing about your argument is that you don't even take into account the fact that europe has more than 3x the amount of teams than ESEA

ETF2L is free, ESEA isn't. Easy to make a team and then throw it away without a second thought on ETF2L, so I don't think the signups are comparable.

snowblindfrom what I understand UGC 6's is just pubbers so i'm not sure why that would factor into the equation at all

ETF2L Div6 is pubbers too, that's how divisions work. Div 6A-J (14 subdivisions) with 8 teams each.

my point still stands. the american scene still has less teams overall but is able to play/compete at a higher level - at least at the time of i46

I watch Yuki's stream a lot and find them impressive. They lack competition though, so even with 6 really good players I don't see how they could prepare. US - Aus final would be awesome and hilarious so I'm hoping for that.

I think it's hilarious how people use totally baseless arguments to predict iM in the final and that's accepted, then people shit on waffleb when she predicts them not to do as well with just as much evidence.

Fact is, we don't have a clue and it's fun to speculate. Chill the fuck out.
