When the TF2 market crashes, people will stop caring about cosmetics and start caring about being good at the game.

Thus, TF2 will grow as an e-sport.

the only reason the market will go down is if something replaces tf2
i really cant foresee that in the near future

Maybe if the market crashes we can see a Team Fortress three. valve isn't making one atm probably because of the money they are making from TF2 and the shit storm that will happen if they suddenly announce TF3 and all the traders will lose their money.

they aren't making a tf3 yet because there's no point to create a sequel to the series without it being on a new engine and they're having no issues expanding endlessly to the source engine to fit their needs at the moment.

Hell, you should have cashed out before the ref-key ratio went above three.

Got me through a month and a half of unemployment.

But that's because keys are becoming more valuable, not because buds are becoming less so.

Why would they do that? If you have no inventory purchases and values are more likely to be high right off the start.

This shouldn't be in the general discussion of a competitive tf2 website... :/

you will be able to transfer your hats to TF3, they will be vintage unusuals, worth even more. I suggest buying all you can now, no mutual funds, no stocks, invest in hats.

i sold my hats for cash, best decision ever, i ended up getting like $125 for em. Only ended up saving my hatless scout and demofro, only hats i need.

i don't miss em now that they're gone.
