I've been tuning in to the Bundescup over the weekend and I really liked the fantasy-style draft they did with each team captain allocated a budget to spend on a pool of players ranging in price relative of skill level.

I'd love to see this done on a bigger and more international scale with more players and teams as well as being backed by a charity incentive to raise money and awareness for important matters.

TL;DR - toth dota fortress but more competitive.

France did it first.
Anyways, the problem with stuff like this is that it is probably a lot of work to organize. The bundescup dudes already put in a lot of work and now imagine a charity cup of this scale.

The biggest issue we had was finding a way to balance the teams. Weve got quite a lot of people that havent played any pugs / are barely known in the community participating. In a bigger format it would require the organizers to pretty much know every player to assure somewhat fair teams. Sadly i dont really think thats realistic.

And yea the fantasy draft aspect is completely copied from the frenchies :D
