So just recently TF2 has started not loading. What will happen is the normal loading screen will appear, then the screen will go white (which has been happening for a while without causing any previous problems) and then I'll end up back at my desktop. This will happen after I've successfully played for a bit. The first time it happened, in game my hud shrank and became very small, so I restarted tf2 and lo and behold this began happening. I have to verify my cache to fix it, which is growing increasingly annoying as I'm having to do it multiple times per day. I just changed over to yahud, but I didn't think that a custom hud would break the game. Any help is very appreciated.

By going white, do you mean what windows 7 does if a program stops responding? Try using a different hud or the default one for a while, even if it's just to rule out the possibility of it being yahud.
