A few days before the recent cl_interp update, certain weapons for me stopped working how they normally would. Such as the stock shotgun, the sniper rifle, SMG and some melee weapons like the market gardener. It seems extremely rare for them to land hits even on people who are standing still sometimes and i haven't changed anything in my config since then. Since it was before the cl_interp update i don't have any idea what it could be. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
Also everytime i join a server with a map i don't have i get kicked and it says "Missing map namehere disconnecting". I have tried setting it to download maps only and download everything and nothing works.

I just tried hitting someone at least 5 times upclose as demoknight and not one hit counted. My ping was also 50. If anyone could help me out that would be amazing.

I believe that even if you have cl_interp set to a different value now in-game, it auto-defaults to 0.1 when you start the game. You have to switch it to your value before playing and it should be better.

I tried setting it to cl_interp 0 which was what it was before. What should i set it to then?

Bumping after less than 30 minutes has passed is not necessary. If you really must bump, waiting at least 24 hours is generally more acceptable.

EDIT: i fixed the problem.(no thanks to lange) It turns out it was something in my CFG i have no idea what. Someone delete this thread
