IGL (International Gaming League) is excited to support the Team Fortress 2 community and will be doing so in several ways. In this article you will read about IGL's upcoming Team Ladders, the competition structure, the Brand My Team contest and Special Events to come. Recently, there has been a lot of talk about cultivating the NA scene and IGL would like to be a part of the possible solution. IGL feels that through various forms of competition and, most importantly, a skill tiered approach, that a base structure can be created in the NA TF2 space that will help sustain growth for years to come.
To get things started, IGL has opened up a TF2 Highlander ladder. The IGL TF2 Highlander ladder will allow you to be randomly matched up versus other teams within a similar 'Tier' of skill. These matches can be generated by using the IGL's "Quick Play" system that allows teams to sign up for a specific time slot of their choice, wait for others to join the same time slot and let the system handle the match generation. Of course, the standard 'challenge' system is in place that will allow teams to generate their own matches. Both of these options lead to a more organized team match setups and gives teams incentive by tracking their wins and losses as well as by the IGL Ladder Points system.
In return for the communities support and to get things jump started, IGL is offering every team that qualifies a chance to win nine (9) branded T-shirts from Big Frog T-Shirts. Your team will have a choice of colors and your team's logo will go on the front in full color. If your team would like an update to your logo or do not have one at all, IGL will have designers to help at no cost to you.

- Create a Team Fortress 2 Highlander Team
- Fill out your team profile and upload a team logo
- Invite your teammates and complete your roster of 9 or more teammates.

A full announcement on how to qualify for the 2nd "Brand My Team" Giveaway will be announced within the next two weeks.
"Brand My Team" Contest and Ladder Details:
- Teams must have complete rosters and signed up for the NA TF2 Highlander ladder by June 14, 2013.
- For a team to be qualified they must have completed at least five (5) matches on the ladder.
- Brand My Team Giveaway #1 winner will be announced on June 15th, 2013.
- Ladder matches may be played starting Friday May 31, 2013.
