Just came off of building a computer and a little short on $$$ so I'm considering using my 32" tv as a monitor for a couple months but I've heard they have bad input lag. Thoughts?

I use a 32" tv currently. I haven't really noticed any input lag. Should be fine.

It comes down to the TV specs. Some will be fine, and some won't. I mean, if you can't afford a monitor you might as well use the TV. However, 32" is really large if you are sitting close.

Tried running TF2 on my 50" plasma. Not really to be recommended as it's a kind of information flood. i.e. the screen is so big I actually have to turn my head to see from one side of the screen to the other, by which time I'm dead. I'd say it's more a novelty that something you'd want to do all the time.
