HUD problems with steampipe, detais in description

So, today was a normal day. until i tried loading up TF2. from what i could best guess, it was Steampipe. or that's what i've been told. I waited a long time for it to set up. then, my HUD broke. typical. I've been using this one tutorial to install Garm3nHud for the past 6 months or so. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AOfZDb2UHc
I tried it. it no longer works. i've tried suggestions from my friends to put the resource in the "Common" Folder. that doesn't work either.

Either i'm not getting something here, or this is serious. PLZ HELP D:

have you considered looking at the 10 other threads about the steampipe changes?

put your resource/scripts/cfg/whatever inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\userstuff

userstuff does not exist, you need to create it yourself, then put your stuff in there
