No, it's perfectly legal, but the time it takes for you to leave how deep in B he was, go to A, do the rock jump (assuming/hoping he gets it on the first try, which is usually not the case because finding the sweet spot on the rock is fucking dumb), go into spawn, and finally switch classes is incredibly longer than to just intentionally die and respawn.
The only advantage of going through spawn and doing the rock jump is that the other team may still believe there is a spy around.
Also, this clip is gold and I love it. 10/10
