TF2 betas for old demos not working after 64 bit

Tried to watch some old demos using the provided betas Valve provides recently but it seems they're broken; does anyone have the same issue and/or a fix for this ? Perhaps the betas are just broken now after the update. If anyone could help would be much appreciated :)
