I return to play dead video games and people choose to play on servers with horrible routing, constant rubber banding and stuttering around the map. Which I guess would be understandable if Panda/Spaceship didn't exist but those servers feel so smooth and pleasant in comparison so it's a bit mind boggling.

because nobody is willing to put effort into making a good server that runs at the standard tick rate or whatever so its realistic for 6s. bystander effect
also its because ugc has been around for so long that the elo retards dont want to play on a different server and have to get their elo up again which is unfortunately the heart and soul of mge and has been for years

getting communities this old to commit to anything new is really frustrating because of how set in stone the rot is. I have been hearing people complain about these dogshit servers for years and still nothing changes even though all it would take is like 6 people to join and play consistently enough for people to realize that UCG blows and shouldn't get the pop it does.
