Regarding the B4nny 5CP Ruleset

Maps with infinite overtime seem to last too long, which prevents the full extent of the ruleset from being implemented in a league with a Bo3 or Bo5 format for playoffs. While the shortened round timers are good enough at 4 or 5 minutes, it's not enough to eliminate bus-parking without infinite overtime, but nobody wants to play an hour-long map. That said, there are solutions that should be tried.

1) Shorter match timer. Under the current ruleset, overtime kicks in at 30 mins, which is the end of the match timer. You could just shorten this to 15-20 minutes, with different amounts of time being tested to see which one works best.

2) Overtime only applies at the end of 30-minutes if there is a round difference of a certain amount, say one or two points. The problem with this is that parking the bus, while reduced, still exists.

3) A different winlimit. Probably my least favorite solution, but you could limit the max rounds to 3 or 4.

Overall, a longer match time is rough for the players in playoffs who have to play multiple maps. With the halftime ruleset, we run into this problem where Invite grands go till like 3 AM est and that's with map advantage from the upper bracket. It also makes scheduling LAN tournaments less reliable (DreamHack anyone?).

I have played hour long maps for 10 years (I've played an 87 minute game before), these games are not as long usually
point #1 is something I have brought up before and the opinions shared back was that it was a thing that was possible but probably not necessary. #2 is stupid because it invalidates the whole point of the ruleset and #3 brings up the point that different maps have different field goals, badlands was the only map where a team could get 5 rounds and still possibly lose and people don't really like it and mostly don't play it at this point anyway. 5 is mostly a culture thing anyway but it's fine

personally still really love this ruleset and hope i get to play it from now until forever
still wanna try a 4:30 round timer though. 4 felt better than both 3 and 5 to me, just kind of curious about 4:30.
