edit: Problem literally fixed itself, if anyone in the future comes across this problem good luck lol.

So I'm having trouble installing tf2. Its a fresh tf2 install on a new hard-drive. When I launch tf2 it starts the microsoft dx installer for tf2. Says step 1 of 1 complete, it shows that I'm in game in my steam library, but after about two seconds it shows that I'm out of game. I have tried different dxlevels in my launch options, but to no avail. I have tried verifying my game cache multiple times, but again no luck.
