Normally, I don't med a lot, but if I screw around in pugs and stuff, I would need commands to do stuff.

How would I go about binding a key to faking uber? How would I go about stacking the bind for saying I ubered, as well as uber? (For me at least, putting the bind in cancels the uber pop).

I don't know how to google.com

for saying uber, you'd go into your medic cfg and add

bind M2 "+attack2; say_team Ubered" or something like that. I'm sure I have the names of the commands/syntax wrong but you should be able to figure it out. Easiest way to learn how to do stuff is download some medic cfg like PYYYOUR's and just editing it and seeing what happens.

EDIT: PYYYOUR's post above shows the correct way.

Make sure you add bind mouse2 +attack2 to your other class configs so you don't say "i ubered" every time you det stickies.

SKILL_DETECTORbind "key" "voicemenu x x"

I put bind e "voicemenu 2 8", but nothing happens. I tried bind e "voicemenu x 8" (x being my second voicemenu bind) but nothing. Is there something I'm missing here?

bind mouse2 "+attack2; say_team $$$UBERCHARGE ACTIVATED$$$; Uber"
bind mouse3 "voicemenu 1 7; say_team $$$FAUX UBER$$$;"

bind mwheelup "voicemenu 0 4"
bind mwheeldown "voicemenu 0 5"

The last two lines are extremely useful in general for confusing the opponents. I roll the mouse randomly and wildly all game and also use it to cover uber. Obviously there are some times you'd rather stay silent but constant 'go left' and 'go right' do nothing but good for my team in regards to throwing off the mental game of the opposition.

I still treat voice command mind games like the crystal skull atop the mountain, hard to attain a mastery of but damn damn useful. Mind games play such an important part in regards to medic, take any advantage you can get and make sure you note when a plan works. Many people don't appreciate or notice the simple things you can do as medic in regards to covering/faking but it's of utmost importance.

Off tangent but thanks for the thread, it let me pour some thoughts out.
