Hey folks! I'm one of the admins at tf2maps.net. You've probably heard of our regular 72hr Contests, where we try to make a map for the game within three days. You'll probably recognise some of the results - Probed, Byre, Highpass, and Overgrown, for example. This time we're doing something different, and we'd like to get everyone else involved too! For more information, see the video here by our very own UEAKCrash.

We're running a 72 Hour Team Fortress 2 Jam! Rather than a competitive thing, we're going to spend 72 hours making things for Team Fortress 2, and we want as many people from other communities as possible to get involved. You can make or do whatever you want - models, maps, fanfiction, HUDs, SFM videos, fragvids, wierd fanfiction - It just has to be related to TF2. Also, you have to do it within 72 hours.
If you don't want to make things yourself but still want to be involved, then you can come along and help test maps, or just watch people stream their efforts. To find out when tests will be, come join our steam group, and check out the link below: we'll be updating that with a list of livestreamers as we get closer to the event!
The jam starts at 6pm GMT on Friday the 29th January, and we'd love to see you come along and get involved. For further information, you can join our discussion thread here!
