I use shiny green cross (no hud crosshair, just cl_crosshair_scale 30; cl_crosshair_file crosshair7). I use it for really long time and I am fully comfortable with that.

This is a nice tutorial for that crosshair. It's in the pack of quake ones, I think it's ql4 or ql1.

Just saw the response to my xhair now. I'll upload everything tomorrow. I have the same crosshair as Deer, and the link he provided should do for the transparent circle and the dot. Note that it will appear as a checkerboard on sv_pure 2 servers. The crosshair from that guide is the fourth one.

Basic cross that I got from one of Garm3n's huds. I used something from Omp to make the crosshair flash red whenever I damage someone.

If you load up a map when you start tf2 before joining an sv_pure 2 server the crosshair will show fine.

how do some of you actually think you benefit from having 17 layers of stupid hud crosshairs that fill up the whole screen

My Hud (Goat_Hud v1.7 with numerical hp)
My crosshair (The 4 lines/pilot xhair & the circle)

For the transparent circle and the dot in the center I followed this guide to get it. I use ql4 and it's the same one Deer uses put except mine is white.

I managed to yell at Goat_ to get the pilot xhair in the hud, and it pairs nicely with the default circle that was in there.

Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question, but did you change the net_graph font somehow or does it just look like that on a resolution that's bigger than mine?

It's a custom sourcescheme.res not sure how fonts are handled in that file since i've never messed with it.

actually worked pretty good on hitscan but not sure how you'd go about sniping with a square
