Today I played in a newbie mix. After the match, I was screwing around while listening to my coach talk about our team. A user, named eldritch on the other team said "kill me again and you will get permaed" I didn't recognize him as an admin and I assumed he was just another player messing around after the match. Soon after I killed him. I said no balls after because I really didnt think he was serious. From what little experience I have of post game, people just leave, go afk, or screw around. I didn't think he was trying to actually do something
After the mix, I was waiting in the mumble. Getawhale mentioned he wanted people to join his server. After finishing up my game, I went to the mumble chat to get the ip of his server. I copied the ip closest to the bottom and connected to it. It turned out to be another newbie mix going on. I'm still kinda new so I didn't realize they were trying to play a match. After a minute I was kicked. I was kinda confused so I rejoined, and once I re connected I realized it was an actual match and left. I think this was an honest mistake.
After leaving I joined Getawhales actual server, and was banned from the newbies mumble after a few minutes. I asked why, and someone told me talk to pie. I tried adding him on steam, but it ketp giving me an error (I think he blocked me since Im still able to add other people). I originally thought i was banned for joining that newbie mix. Pie came onto the server I was playing on and said I was banned for multiple reasons. Getawhale said it might be personal. I asked pie to add me since it wouldn't work when I added him. He told me to add eldritch, the player I killed after my match. I got the same error. I've also tried making a discussion in the steam, which has no responses at the moment.
I wanted to talk to a someone as to exactly why I was banned, but pie and eld refuese to talk to me.
Was I rightfully banned? Should I be unbanned?

Well 1 it seems you where banned for not listening to people, who cares if they are a coch or not, its not a pub its a teaching area and if people ask you to stop you better fucking stop, as for anything else i was not there but if you managed to piss off BOTH pie and eldritch then you did something more then once and it must have been bad because neither of them get mad easily, ill talk to the others and see what they have to say. Also its not a question of it being a wrong ban we put these on on our own time, not paid or anything at all so if you piss us off enough your problem

Eldritch was trying to show his team something after the game and you repeatedly killed him after he asked you to stop. When he said next person to kill me is perma-banned, you killed him and said "no balls."

The reason you were banned is because eldrich was coaching players and asking the other players not to kill him, he then said if he was killed again which you did and replied "no balls". Afterwards getawhale did host pubs but you connected to another mix and even being asked to leave you did not. Edit: my bad, he was making it sound like pie didnt talk to him at all which is untrue. If for some reason you need to talk to an admin and pie isn't available please talk to myself, Tino or Alosec.

The fact that you didn't listen and take the time to pay attention and evade people asking you to leave makes it right for you to be banned, you're disrupting learning and in return you are punished for it. End of story.

I don't care either way, buddy...I think you're getting the error because my friendslist is full (purge forthcoming). That said, you were asked several times not to continue killing me as I was trying to show my team's roamer (who was playing 6s for the first time ever) how to position himself properly as a general matter. You ignored my requests, and then got smart about it. We then heard what pie said.
Look - you come to a private event, hosted by, provided by, and serviced by volunteers. You act like an idiot. Don't be surprised when the other shoe drops. If you are committed to doing things differently, then we can just write you off as a stupid kid and give you a second chance. Otherwise, man up. Actions have consequences, etc.
To cap it off, you make some absurd appeal to the community at large on this forum. I appreciate that you felt that you were being treated unfairly - but did you give a chance for this to work internally on the group's board before you attempt to drag us through the mud? I posit that you did not, which suggests that while you may feel passionately about the issue, you still lack even a modicum of humilty, grace, and respect towards the people who do take time out of their day to try to help others.

I didn't realize eldrich was their coach, or he was trying to show them something. When I connected to the mix I wasnt paying attention to the chat, and I was not in the mumble server so I didn't even realize I was in a mix. Once I did realize, I left immediately.
I dont recall being asked any questions or evading them. It would have been much easier if we could of have a better place to talk about the ban than the chat of a tf2 server.
Lastly, I never meant to troll and I apologize if I may have mistakenly broken any rules. Even if I were to be trolling, why would I go through all this effort to try to understand my ban, or appeal for an unban?

I want to apologize, I didn't realize eld was a coach and what I did do and say was dumb. I understand why I was banned and think I deserved it. I wouldv'e understood if I would have known about him being a coach earlier.
