Is it possible to pug on these beta maps? I haven't tried playing them yet. If they are, maybe we can get some pugs going and then give feedback to Valve from a competitive perspective?

By the way, how do I get into the beta maps using Quartz's HUD? Jhudas Iscariote, or something. There's no "Play Multiplayer" option that I'm aware of.

I always find one or two cosmetics unequipped from time to time. For a game revolved around cosmentics they sure aren't doing a good job at keeping them on.

Just ended up decompiling the map and playing around with a few things. The bot respawn time, bot health, number of bots at once, and point limit are all baked into the map.

After recompiling the map still worked mostly as it should. Bots didn't move around their tracks, but that could probably be figured out real easy. Mappers could start making custom RD maps basically right away, which is good because I hate this map's design and don't have high hopes for Valve saving it.

Finally they're beta testing new additions to the game again.

All we need now is for them to offer us a list of possible changes to existing weapons so that the community can give their opinions.

Peeked around a bit more in decompiled rd_asteroid. It looks like killing bots was originally going to deactivate the lasers to allow your team to quickly get into the other team's core. The entities to do it are still there, they're just not triggered.

I remember breaking the item schema seemed to make this happen less/never but it might've been my imagination
