MR_SLINhow did gmang fix it? i'm getting that on my hud (broesel)
this post in the other thread explained it well:
Stochast1cDo you have a file called tf_english.txt in your resource folder? Whenever, new updates come out valve likes to change the names of weapons, so the old string that tf_english.txt was expecting for an item is now different and as a result the weapon doesn't get renamed. The fix is as simple to delete the tf_english file for the time being. The unequipping part I have no idea.
gmang fixed it by updating his tf_english.txt, so your options are
a) fix your tf_english.txt file yourself
b) wait for brosel to update his hud (does he? i dont know if thats an upkept hud)
c) remove your tf_english.txt file so the game uses the default one
if you choose c since it is an immediate solution, the problems you'd experience if any would be minor

I've used workarounds to avoid custom localization files, so tf_english has actually never been a part of my HUD. :0 It's a huge pain to keep it updated!
