In cs:go I get 50fps on average, with all low settings and my native resolution (1600x900). I get 180 constant in tf2 with Chris' max frames config.
Specs:
CPU: AMD-FX6100 @3.3ghz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Radeon 6450
Motherboard: Gigabyte M68MT-S2

I know source is mainly cpu dependent or whatever, but if i upgrade upgrade my graphics card, would that help my frames in cs:go or am is something else going on here. also i was looking at this graphics card

I upgraded my GT 610 gpu to a gtx 660 and I get about a 150-200 fps boost, so if you get a gpu like the gtx 660 or higher you will most likely get the same results.

Make sure you upgrade your psu to at least 500 Watts because most higher end gpus need more power. The gtx 660 needs at least 450 I believe?

I don't know much about all this computer stuff so I don't know how much fps you'll get with the card you want to buy but I'm guessing its somewhere around 50-100

or I might be wrong and you'll only get 30 don't take my word on the 50-100 thing

If you're budget constricted, definitely go for the GTX 750Ti. It's only around $160, and it performs alongside a lot of high tier graphics card. Also, doesn't need external power! c;
