my friend begged me to play this on ps2 but i just couldn't fps with joysticks

Do you know if you can use the mouse for aiming this time? I hated having to use a controller for the previous RE4 port on PC.

I'm really upset at the lack of co-op for the mercenaries mode though. Despite the overall game being top notch, that was easily the best part of the game.

Yeah back then when I played Resident Evil 5 and 6, I put so much time into Mercenaries and I was ranked #11 with my friend on the leaderboards. But that was when the game came out within a week. I could imagine playing RE4 Co-Op Mercenaries

I had to play it on the Wii, aiming with the wii-mote

I played this on gamecube in like 2006, I'll definitely play it, I wonder if it holds up to what i remember it being.

I don't know if it's just me but the the pc version is easier on Normal Difficulty. Cause i remember in the normal difficulty, if you get hit once you go to yellow status in the beginning.

I'm legitimately excited about this, So many people talked about how RE4 is by far the best resident evil game of the series and even one of the best games on the gamecube. I tried playing it once on GC, once with the Wii controls, but I just couldn't tolerate playing an fps/tps on a console.(same problem I've had with The Last of Us)

and tps are great with controllers

there's negative accel apparently

if you move the mouse too fast, it doesn't register your movement because the aiming is supposed to be slow
