My name is Roundcat and I am based in London, UK and have been a gamer on TF2 for 9 years:

I have been a high level map maker for about 7 years and host 3 servers as part of our community: at www.team4stress.com. We are a mature team of gamers with a high level of ability and lots of fun banter. Im a TV producer by trade so I keep an eye on quality and my maturer years keeps the chat clean!
We also post regular videos on youtube (T4Stv) and our comunity makes lots of training films and clever montage films of previous nights gaming.
The maps we play on are mainly orange, jump and koth maps. Our plugins settings, music and use of jump triggers and nades area big hit - Im sure people would enjoy watching us jump off buses into the skybox.

Im not related to it at all - but a lot of the feeds arent. I saw lots of other games being played yesterday when I put this here. Im confused - league of legends was being played on three streams yesterday. We are solid TF2 players is that not enough?

i'm not trying to be a stickler for the rules or anything but
Streams:
- Stream mostly TF2 content
- Stream consistently over the course of the week
- Provide a link to your stream
- Provide a brief description of your stream
- State your country of residence
- Give a brief background of your league/division/team history
there's nothing that says you need to be in some way tied in with the competitive community. He seems like a nice guy to me and maybe we could encourage him to do some friday/saturday night pugs with his community and in the process it will cause this one to grow :)

Each of those streamers do stream competitive TF2 and are a part of the competitive community. I can't control the content of each stream, but the way they got on the sidebar was by streaming TF2.
Maybe it was the time of day that you checked but I just logged on (it's scrim time) and checked the sidebar.

It is not stated in the rules, but this website is a competitive TF2 website and not your average TF2 website. The focus of the site is on competitive 6v6 or Highlander (9v9) TF2 content. As such, the site owner and staff want the side bar to feature players from the community.

Well as I have never seen 6v6 or Highlander being played on those streams and only every League of Legends or standard TF2 I'll have to take your word for it. With reagrds the time I came on - the world spins 24/7 and there should not be a restriction on region - or is this mainly a US site? Rest of the world not welcome?
At Team4stress do not do competative TF2 - infact I dont even know what it is. Im finding little here to explain it or encourage it - but Im sure we'd be intersted if its fun.
To be honest - Im getting a bad vibe about the whole deal. One of the streams I saw hosted by some kid who just cursed all the time had people typing Ni**er this and ni**er that in the chat.
I promote a non racist, non sexist, non homophobic gaming environment for people of all type to come and play protected from the haters. If his stream represents the people team fortress tv are green lighting we are definately not of the same league. We're way better.
