Cheap Steam Box build?

I'm wondering what kind of specs a computer would need to be able to play games by streaming. I'd like to spend less than $300 on a build like this. The only requirement would be that it can do Steam Box streaming from the host PC without a hitch. Thanks :)

EDIT: I also found this, that lets you try out the in-home streaming right now.

I tried it myself by editing the settings and it does let me open the menu, I'm not sure if it works though but it'd be good to try out.

I'm not sure about an answer, but I will try this on my computer when I get home from work and see how it goes on my build.

You have to consider the specs on the steamboxes valve is sending out. I know that those are supposed to handle native play as well, but no one knows the specs required for streaming.
