So for the last day or two I have been having problems with my mouse or game and idk which one it is. When I jump as soldier or demo I can't shoot while in the air and then other times I just can't shoot in general. I have tried a trackpad and 2 mouses and have had the same problem with all 3 and don't know what to do. I have restarted my laptop several times and all but I don't know how to fix this.

Have you tried different usb ports? Also, is it only clicking that's getting blocked when you're mid air, or does it block mouse movement too?

i actually had a problem similar to this yesterday- was playing med in scrims and i ubered my pocket, showed him ubered on my screen but then he died- and the healbeam was still connected to him. i wasnt able to uber anybody else with the rest of it either, and i do NOT have autoheal on. strangest thing in the world

since you mention its specifically demo and soldier and your medic problem, it sounds exactly like its internet lag.

Projectiles are what you are having problems with, just seems like you get big lag spikes occasionally.

There is only 2 usb ports on my laptop and its tf2 I believe not my mouse or trackpad because it happens with them all.

I don't think its lag because I'll keep clicking and then it will shoot or I'll just have to click super hard or something weird, sometimes with scout and sniper it won't shoot or even scope in.

I think the whole 'clicking hard' thing is just placebo, since you tried it across 3 mice, and clicking hard would affect only the mice themselves, but, i'm not sure.

I think on the Mac, if you're holding something down on the keyboard such as crouch, you won't be able to shoot.
At least that's my experience. If I was holding crouch in midair while trying to shoot I wouldn't be able to.

yeah it's an issue with the update on macs. ctrl + m1 now emulates a right click in-game as well. i use ctrl as my push-to-talk for mumble and ran into the same problems.. including popping ubers at unwanted times. for now the only way around it is to either unbind whatever you use ctrl for or use bootcamp/vmware.

could be lag, but with the way the beam was still connected you'd think i would rubberband. i don't usually get bad ping lag(FPS is another story) but i can't think of any other explanation
