Basically 2K Games made some apparently massive repairs to the multiplayer (which was apparently abysmal because even with controllers you felt like you were aiming on a grid - quote from a friend of mine who actually played the MP) and unlocked all the single and multiplayer DLC content to all owners on Steam. Kinda reminds me of what old DICE did for 2142 by making the Northern Strike expansion permanently free for all remaining users on the very last update for the game.
That's legitimately really cool in this day and age. With the LIVE Marketplace shut down and GFWL on the way to shutdown this July, I wonder if any other games are going to get this kind of treatment besides Dark Souls (which is confirmed to be moving to Steamworks). Although the only other games that I can think of that run on GFWL are DoW2 and GTA4.

Any news on Super Street Fighter IV: AE?
Capcom is making Ultra Street Fighter IV, which is going to be a paid DLC for SSFIV:AE that adds new characters along with rebalancing and will also drop GFWL. There might be other stuff that it does but I'm not really sure what else if anything it'll have.
