Friend of mine is offering it for $75, seems to be a ~decent~ deal for a 75hz 17" monitor, just quickly wondering if anyone has personal experience with it or if there's something i should know, don't seem to be too many reviews out there that I could find.

Ok thanks for the feedback. I was pretty doubtful I'd buy it since the price isn't great but no one else is interested so he might go even lower so we're going to have to see.

Usually most 1080p monitors have the option to go 75hz when you lower the resolution. See if your monitor can do that before getting it.

On a laptop atm, thinking about buying a desktop. Pretty much any monitor is an upgrade over what I'm currently using.

i don't think you should buy it 720p isn't really good for gaming. it's okay for having a 2nd monitor like i'm going to get a 1080p 120hz monitor later but probably use a 2nd one just for browsing shit or whatever else (maybe eyefinity)

basically, if it's gonna be your primary monitor, don't get it and wait until you get something better. if it's dirt cheap though i'd pick it up just because
