stuck in mat

When the update went live my game looked different, like in dx8. Then I found out at mat_phong 0/1. I thought putting in mat_phong 1 in console would fix it but it didn't, so im stuck in mat_phong 0. does anyone how how to fix it

mat_phong doesn't do anything in dx8.

Try changing it in your autoexec and making it read only?
