I am sitting at 60hz currently and I want to upgrade to a 120hz (crt)

So where should I get one for a reasonable price?
Would be nice if you could suggest me some monitors which I can get in Europe ;)

What is a reasonable price for you?
If you have some budget, do your eyes a favor and go for an LCD with lightboost.
The BenQ and the Asus are the default choices and IIRC the BenQ is cheaper in Europe (and more expensive in the US for some reason).

As for CRTs you should probably search through amazon for some good offers. Just try not to get a crt that was used for 6 years already because the chances for it toasting itself are high.

Asus VG248QE>BenQ XL2411T in every possible way.

Most trinitron CRT monitors should output at a high refresh rate. Just look around craigslist. You may even score one for free.

this isn't true, the xl2411t and the vg248qe use the same panel. There are only slight differences in the OSD and out of box colors. And given that the XL2411T is significantly cheaper in europe...it's the better choice.

Can the XL2411T output at 144 hertz?
