Mangachuthat looks like a premium code

Is it? Most premium codes I've seen are all caps and 32-chars.

MerchantI am pleased to announce that 1. I have stolen Kaneco's job of announcing things and 2. the ESEA-I S14 page at: http://comp.tf/wiki/ESEA-I_Season_14 has been now updated to include summaries of all regular season matches using the Template:Team_results done by Thesupremecommander.

You can check them out at: http://comp.tf/wiki/ESEA-I_Season_14#Results. Just hit expand under the matches tab by any team. :)

Edit: Also should mention that you can also find examples at http://comp.tf/wiki/Insomnia49#Results but the open groups C and D aren't done yet.

Yeah, i49 was created before the advent of the template, and I want to get back to converting the old results and inserting the new results eventually.

Meanwhile, however, I'm working on a script to mostly automate the process of creating regular season tables complete with team results by pulling them from ESEA, which should help the process go by much faster. I actually used a prototype last night to make the regular season tables for every previous season of Invite.

I'm hoping that CloudFlare does indeed help with the load (it does seem a bit more responsive now). It should at least take off the load from images and CSS and JavaScript, which frees up the server to serve the actual content.

Munch with EU rules, games last for 30 minutes or end when there is a win difference of five, it's not like in NA where you play first to 5 wins.

Yeah, but he was pointing out the logs only went to 14 minutes. In this case, the 4-0 score wasn't the complete score, since the actual match ended 5-0.

Result of HRG-Elem V game was

6-1 HRG

after a crash. It was played after Round 5 for whatever reason.

Result of Round 5 game was

5-0 HRG

.

All of the match results were split up by seed and put in the wiki page for quick reference, so check that out if you're interested.

LuckyLukeI don't know how "easy" it will be though sending the items to the right steam accounts.. Maybe they can use a list of emails, but I'm not so sure about that.

From what I understand the current method involves using the Steam Web API to grant the items to other people's accounts, although I certainly don't have experience with it.

You probably could do it if you had people sign in with a Steam account somewhere in the process.

#17 Welcome back, folks! in TF2 General Discussion

I'm still wondering how it took the provider at least a day to mitigate the attack. Serious questions need to be asked of whichever company's responsible for hosting the site.

truktrukJust a quick heads up. If you do donate an item your name will be logged for some sort of credits thing we'll do and your items will be transferred to this account as soon as possible: http://steamcommunity.com/id/tipofthehatscharity

We're trying to make this as see-through as possible so if people want their items back for whatever reason we should be able to give them back (and prevent get scammed). This is still the very early stages of planning and collecting items, we'll be updating the OP with more information as we add the ideas suggested among other things.

Do you have a bot automating the collection of items? If so, it would be relatively simple to create a website showing the items that are currently collected, the person who donated them, and their current location using the Steam API.

#65 Comp.tf Newbie-Only 6v6 Cup and Wiki Contests in TF2 General Discussion

Well, just be prepared for the possibility of it being prolonged due to delays or logistical overhead.

Also, if you're interested, you could maybe look into how ESA runs their cups since they have been doing similar Sunday cups for at least a month now. I'm only speaking from the experience of running smaller community events, so what I'm saying may not be completely valid with a larger competition like this.

Last season it actually was ahead of schedule for most if not all of the time and finished on time. That being said, timing might be a little tight, especially considering that it's an evening tournament and depending on how many teams register, since you have to have at least one hour per round if going by ESEA rules.

And that's fine - it's just unfortunate that the two weekends that you aren't available to hold it surround the two major LAN events which you don't really want to compete with for attention.

The best thing you could do here is to figure out the best date to postpone the cup to and start fine-tuning the details.

Well, it depends. If you absolutely want to be there since you're the organizer and all, the timing should definitely accommodate you, but if it's just some responsibilities you have with running the cup, you could find people to help you get the critical things done. I certainly wouldn't mind lending you my help if you needed it.

Well, because of both LANs happening around the same time, it would be preferable to hold it either the weekend before ESEA or the weekend after i49. If you can't do it next week (which would be preferable for me, but I'm not anyone important), the week after i49 would be the best.

It's definitely not best to do it the weekend of any LAN... Newbie Mixes during last season's LAN really got washed out because of it IIRC.

I might be able to help you out with that website stuff if you still need a person for that.
