Pereethe extra speed and 25hp 40 overhealed can be nice, but to give up pipes or the cannon, is more than a fair trade off.
I completely agree, I think it just promotes a different style of play.

Idk you're giving up pipes to equip them, and in team situations I don't think the extra health and movement make too much of a difference. And sorry if I'm missing something but what about them makes it easier to hit stickies?
edit: also many people that play demo quite heavily rely on pipes in their playstyle

Try Configure > Settings > Network > Use Quality of Service, either check or uncheck that box, apparently it differs from server to server whether you should have it on or not to prevent random disconnects, I had a similar issue but verse told me about this.

I had this exact issue about a 2 weeks ago and I couldn't find a solution to my problem. Eventually I found that just disconnecting the powerline adapters for a few minutes from both ethernet ports and mains sockets fixed the issue, and this solution worked any times this has happened since. Good to see you solved it though.
